How to Look up id's for npc's, items, & objects by Artix

Here is a quick tutorial how to get wow object , npc , item ID'S.

Text Based Tutorial:

Step 1:

Go on to www.wowhead.com or www.thottbot.com For my tutorial i will use wowhead.

Step 2:

Now do the following,
At the top you will see Database. Hover over it and select which object, npc , item you are after.
In my case i will try to find AshBringer weapon so i do the following. Hover over Database, then hover over
items and lick on weapons.Now i scroll down and see which is the item i am looking after.

Step 3:

When you find your item click on it and when the page loads lok at the top of the page were it says
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=13262
Now what you will do is copy the end number ' item=13262 ' . In your case it will be different number.
Now go in game and write the number after ' .add 13262 ' .And there you go, you got your item you wanted

Step 4, Not Included in Visual Tutorial:

Other way is to go on www.wowhead.com or www.thottbot.com and find item by typing its name in search bar
and pressing search.Rest is the same.
